Azri here.
Oooh, to Suenxin, Restaurant City is this game on Facebook. It's quite fun cause you don't really have to do anything, but it will still level and stuff. Quite simply basically. Not the kind that Terkming or Kaipeng would play though. But Yijia and I are totally hooked.
Oh my, Yijia! Thank your parents for me. It's really nice to know that they're asking about me and stuff. Feels as though I've got an extended family outside. About teaching, yeah, I've always wanted to do teaching, for the same reasons as you (towards tuition). I just get a sense of satisfaction from seeing students understand the concepts and doing better. Most importantly, they start to enjoy learning the subject. Makes your effort worthwhile. I honestly don't mind the work and the bond and all. Right now, I'm a little concerned about the money part cause they said that the pay sucks? I mean, I'm not asking for crazy stuff, but I do want stability. Does your dad know how the pay is like, Yijia? Oooh, and you didn't say what you think of me as a teacher.
Anyway, I was bored just now so I took out our class photos. Although it wasn't taken that long ago, it feels so strangely different. We've all grown up so much, changed so much in that few months ever since we've graduated. It makes the memories we've had in Anderson so painful, yet so meaningful at the same time. From the time we had a competition to get a photo of Mr Vincent Goh to figuring out what Mr Andy Quek meant in class. Its quite amazing how fast time past.
Remember having our favourite Tomyam noodles on Monday? And hotdogs on Tuesday? Slacking during PE cause Yijia and I belonged to the 'Dysfunctional Knee Clan'. Playing games on our mobile phones that Yijia downloaded during lectures cause some lectures were so damn freaking boring. Then we started panicking as the A levels starting approaching and we were worried about Physics, GSC, History. We thought we didn't make it, but look at where we are now.
I'm still quite sad that Suenxin and Kaipeng has to leave to such far countries. I hope that no matter what, we'll remember each other and come back again and meet up. I hope that by then, we're all successes and professionals in the things that we're doing. That'll be a great bonus. We could go back to Anderson and be alumni and perhaps that WOMAN would treat us with a little more respect. HAHAHAHA.
Yijia and I are intending to take up a new language together. It's probably going to be SPANISH. Or was it something else? I can't remember. Suenxin, you got to learn it too! So that we can speak in code the next time we meet! Oooh, so exciting!
P/S. I got a student for tuition! Chemistry! Omfg, I'm so happy! But I'm quite stressed. It's already June and I don'tknow whether I'm able to work fast enough to make sure that she at least gets a decent pass for her Mid Years.
Omfg, Mid Years.... The last time we had that was so long ago. And I still remember not studying for Physics and History at ALL. And still did better than Siddarth for Physics. HAHAHAHAHA.
Wonder how he's doing? Laughs. Broken another few fingers maybe. Okay, I shall stop being bitchy.
LIM YIJIA. THIS SATURDAY! BREAKFAST OKAY?
